This construction company that is an independent leader in the aggregate-based materials industry provides valued customers with quality products, services, and solutions to sustainably improve the communities they serve. In November 2019, this company went live with Oracle ERP Cloud with the support from a Big Four consulting firm. Given the number of issues this company faced post go-live, they engaged with Cloudworks to conduct a Health Check followed by a Remediation engagement to address the challenges from the initial implementation.
The company had challenges related to both their Procurement and Payables processes and ended up with a large queue of backlogged invoices. These issues related to process, configuration, data, training and reporting.
Leveraging Cloudworks proprietary Health Check approach, our team worked closely with the Manufacturing company team to analyze and prioritize the issues and available options. Based on the assessment, the team identified twelve remediation initiatives and worked closely with the team to implement these initiatives over a three-month period.
In addition, it also levered Oracle ERP Cloud to incorporate best practices across the Record to Report, Payables, Receivables, Intercompany and Reconciliation process areas. This was achieved through automating several interfaces, implementing Automated Invoice Processing, and leveraging the robust reporting capabilities in Oracle Cloud.
